A place for us to out of our soul

When: 1st of April 2011
Where: Souled Out
Why: Cousins outing
During my holidays break when i supposed to follow my cousin and aunt to Bangkok but due to the tsunami in Japan, my father worried and i was told to be at home. Hence, i decided to meet up my cousin and stay over her place to have pillow talk before my class reopen and she starts working as a pharmacist in a general hospital. I had my favourite glutinous rice ball in Klang Valley and really had a good time chit chatting with my cousin.

Perhaps we think we should lengthen our meeting time and we decided to have dinner together at Souled Out, Mont Kiara but this time including my younger sister, Chen and Chris as well.
#1 Chen and I before the meal is serve. They have pretty place somehow like candle light dinner but when the night comes, the music they played like what we usually heard in a night club. I love this pic btw. ><

#2 They served not only western food as well as malaysian food. Surprisingly you can have curry mee here. How awesome this place is! Our mushroom pizza in large size.

#3 Food we ordered and my beloved sister and cousins. The small spotlight in the restaurant really kills me off, we will turn snow white if we didn't get the right angle.

#4 The sweet couple in blue with their lamb chop i think.

#5 Lastly, the outlook view of the restaurant before we leave. Really hope to have more chances to chill with you girls and i really enjoyed the whole day with all of you fooling other people around on the first day of April.

Hi, April!

P.S: Come la KL more often so that we can gather more often. :D

Hometown here I come!!

When: 12th - 13th of February 2011
Where: My hometown
What: Balik Kampong

We just went back to hometown recently but due to my Grandpa who claimed that he wants to see us so we back again during the Chinese New Year break. Can see how happy he is when he first saw us, sometimes I just so admire my Grandpa who actually can remember our names even though we didn’t meet up that often.

Is so coincident when we finished our dinner, there is a ship back from the seas and yes we get to see how they transfer the fresh seafood from the ship to the land.

The fishes

Tiger prawn

Photo only showing the 2 bigger sotong. The medium size one I think got few boxes.

Differentiating the size of the fishes into different basket.

My dad, fish lover of course won’t miss his chance to grab all the fresh seafood back to KL. I knew he bought a lot and took a lot throw into the steamboat pot we used earlier for our dinner.

Update

My blog was dead for the past few weeks due to the load of assignments and my final exam.
There are so many things that i have to update.
So let's update month by month from February till now.

When: 30th of January - 2nd of February 2011
Where: Genting
What: Chinese New Year Trip

Yes Chinese New Year is around the corner, since travelling during CNY holidays is my family's tradition so we decided to have a 3D2N trip to Genting.
Genting had soil erosion on that day, so all guests have to take cable car up to the hill. Addition, it is a weekend coming with long holidays caused the place full with human beings.

Genting with full of mist

It has been a long time since the last time i take cable car. Guess what? I never ride a cable car with my family members before so feel quite thankful to the soil erosion. :P Daddy said he can't even remember when is his last ride.

Lovely dad

Forest mei mei

We went to the cafeteria Calvin's gor gor brought us to have our dinner. At least this place is not crowded like others since there are really a lot of people up there that night. So we cam-whore while waiting for our food. : D

June mei mei

We found out the chocolate we used to eat when we are still kid. We called it as "The Number 8" but the price is like double or triple compared to last time, it cost RM1.20 now or perhaps only in Genting.

Trying to take a photo with the "Marry Go Round" to prove that we still young. XD

Joanne posing with the fake blossom outside the Vietnamese restaurant.

Me posing with the boat coming towards.

Cam-whore again with Forest. : )

June who wants to take photo with all the clock showing different time for different countries.

Found out Jay Chou on Readers Digest when I'm in the bookstore. ><

Our last photo before we leave Genting. Had a great time with family in Genting, this will be the last CNY trip with my parents and sisters before i leave to UK. Oh no~ I'm going to be alone without my family next year during CNY. We shall see what will happen on me next year. LOL.
